Chris & Allison's Adventure

Our Anniversary!

On October 16th, we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary in the nearby city of Kobe. Unfortunately, it was raining and we couldn't follow through with our original plan of taking the ferry to Rokko Island, but we did have a really great time anyways!

We found a quaint shopping villa called the Mosaic Garden. It was very hard not to spend lots of money here! Since it was raining, umbrellas were provided for you as you walked through the garden. You just placed them in a barrell on your way out!

Chris' highlight for the day was finding "his game" at an arcade. Allison thought that was very romantic.

We decided to go to the Hard Rock Cafe for our anniversary dinner. It was quite the experience. We ordered 2 drinks, nachos and cheese for an appetizer, then two main dishes. After ordering, our waitress tried to explain to us in broken English that we had ordered too much food! Wow. That would have never happened in Canada! We told her we were very hungry and could eat it all! (And in fact we did -- except for Allison's chicken which was too dry to chew.)
