Our second stop along the Philosophers' Pathway (after detouring to some souvenir shops) was Eikando Temple. The autumn leaves were even more brilliant here, but once again, the camera couldn't quite capture the beauty.

Being peak autumn season, we had to brave the thick tourist crowds.

Although it may look like a stampede, the crowds were very polite and would even stop so we could capture the perfect photo.
