Philosophers' Pathway

The final stop along the Pathway tour was Nanzen-ji Temple. The temple was too large for us to capture the whole building, but the picture below is the outside area where you can light incense in preparation of your prayers to Buddah.

A young Japanese woman who knew a little bit of English was kind enough to take this photo for us along the Pathway.

We were very happy with how these photos turned out. We were standing underneath a water aquaduct near Nanzen-ji Temple.

At the end of our Pathway tour, we had to wait approximately one hour for a bus that had room on it to go back to the train station! At dark, all the tourists were trying to get back to the station just like we were, so all of the buses were jammed packed!
