The exciting thing about spring is Cherry Blossoms (called Sakura) and Hanami (Cherry Blossom viewing BBQ's/Picnics)! Everyone flocks early to the nearest Cherry tree area to set up their blankets and tarps so they can reserve their favourite picnic spot. Oddly enough, we have never seen anyone having a picnic outside of Cherry Blossom season. ???
